Become BTS’ manager in new mobile game on June 25

ARMYs, we’re well-fed this month

BTS World, the mobile game for iOS and Android that will turn fans into BTS’ manager, will be released simultaneously worldwide on June 25. In the game, the group isn’t conquering stadium tours or performing Fortnite dances — they need to make it through their debut.

In the game, players are tasked with guiding the seven-member K-pop group through their debut and fostering their stardom. They will need to clear various missions by collecting, upgrading, and deploying cards featuring the members of BTS. Additionally, players will be able to virtually interact with the members of BTS through a 1:1 system that will feature texts and calls from the members.

Players can pre-register on the game’s website, taking a short quiz in order to “apply” and be matched with the member that they best suit as a manager. The website also features short previews of gameplay, including a sequence in which the player character attends one of BTS leader Kim Nam-joon’s pre-debut rap shows. Fans can also test out the game’s interactive function through a short video call with members Ji-min and Ho-seok.

BTS World will also feature an all-new original soundtrack from BTS leading up to its launch, beginning with a song from a new sub-unit comprised of vocalists Jin, Jimin, and Jung Kook. The new song will be revealed this Friday, June 7, at 6 p.m. KST (5 a.m. ET).

In the meantime, fans can keep up the BTS hype during the group’s sixth anniversary celebration this month and with a steady stream of memes about the game created by ARMY, BTS’ fandom.
